Before joining MRBBA a few months ago, I was having a lot of trouble listening in school and having a hard time with self-control. My teacher called my Mom in every few weeks to talk to her about this. My Mom thought that joining a sport would be good for me, and I let her know that I really wanted to learn Tae Kwon do. I'm so glad that we did it - training at MRBBA is so great! I feel energized and excited when I walk in the door, and after class I can't wait until my next class. The instructors are the best teachers I've ever had in my life, and it's really an honor to be around them. They are patient and they encourage us all of the time. MRBBA helps us become leaders. The extra events are fun, too! The Black Belt Leadership conference was amazing! Ever since I started training, my listening and self-control skills have gotten better, and so has my attitude. My school teacher is really happy for me, and keeps telling my Mom how much better my behavior is. Even my older sister thinks I'm sort of cool now. Michael Brown, Age 7.

(heres the rest of my message.) in total it was over 2000 characters, and I couldn't get it in. Tae kwon do isn't only for Adults or Just Children, Or men or just women, I seen both men and women do it, and people of all ages. Tae kwon do also is funny because it's also a family Activity in which i see theres a lot of family Rivalry. But No one gets hurt. most of the time. but it's only in the family, I see twins do it, mothers and sons, and then there are fathers with their sons and aunts. A fun thing is that people are encouraged to bring their friends, And I have brought so many it's not funny. It's so fun to do it with your friends. And people who really want to be, and have learned enough they can learn to be an instructor. I would have to say our youngest instructor, ( and quite the most evil when it comes to warm ups) Is in began in 5th grade, and Then there are many others also. Like Mr.Bell, Master Lindquist, Mr.Dobson, Mr. Lane, Mrs. Lane, Mr. Paltrineri, and so many more wonderful people. I strive to be an instructor someday and hopes to see many people work hard. I have just recently been Asked to join the SWAT team, in which are a lot like assistant instructors, I don't know much about them but I heard it's a lot of fun and I can't Wait to get started. I would have Thank everyone who's worked so hard for the academy to make it as awesome and EPIC as it is. and I thank my parents for supporting me and my family. And With that, i can really just summarize it in one sentence. Matt Randall's Black Belt Academy is the most awesome "school"/ dojang I've ever been to and it changed my life for the better. I would recommend doing it, i would recommend enrolling your family and telling your family members about it, cause it's worth it. I love this place, and Tae-Kwon-Do is my sport that I don't ever want to give up.

I've been doing Tae Kwon DO for about almost over a year now, and I'm so glad i started it, I feel like I've learned so much and I have a lot of fun in it. If i had never gone to Tae kwon do, I can't imagine it, for i have met so many Awesome people, and I've gotten so far. I am also learned about CATA from it, in which I can't imagine going anywhere else. I've made so many friends and I see some old friends. Everytime I go I strive for my best and I work for my goal to become a black belt. So many people Support me in it, not only my family but the people at the Academy is so Friendly and welcoming They are there anytime i need them. I feel so much more confident when i Walk down the street, and I love learning new Things, in self defense, and i Love the beauty of the Weapons forms, How they are so swift. Also Playing the little games at the end of each class if fun. T-k-d is also a big workout, and you must really stay focused, you have to also set your own goals and see them through. At this place, i've seen so many kids who begin and at the end, they have more confidence and they are more "grown up". At Tae kwon do, Another thing i love about it is that I don't Have to Go to this class on this date every single week, I can really choose the classes i want to go and I progress at my own speed. I Also love helping others, and giving them a challenge. I also love being challenged myself. There are just so many things I lov about Matt Randall's and I wouldn't be where I am if I had never gone. People also Learn to be hard workers and learn discipline and respect, and all sorts of other things that help people when they are in the outside world. (to be cont. it' too big)

In second grade I started Tae-Kwon-do with a few friends. We dreamed that one day we would get out black belt. In second grade I was (and still am) the shortest kid in my class. I was called several names and obviously, didn't get much respect. After I started my parents noticed results right away. I was more active in gym, learning more material in school, my grades were boosted, and I had a higher level of self-confidence. By the time I was a blue belt, I had developed twice as many friends and started looking at The Instructor's Training Program. Due to other reasons, I didn't join anytime soon. I worked hard and found myself wearing a Black Belt. I then ran the topic by my parents again, and I was able to join. Now you'll find me teaching classes on Saturdays, and teaching parts of Fun & Games Night (http://ping.fm/p/R8TPw). I continue to work my way up as I'm now a 2nd degree black belt and only 11. I strongly recommend this program for you and your friends. Thanks for reading! Mr. Dobson

Cont... The best part came later that year when I had a confrontation with the school bully in the cafe of the school. He said something to me and my friends and started to walk away in in front of most of the high school I told him that I was not going to take it any more and if you come over here again I was going to put him on the floor. He didn't know what to do or say but, after everone he pick on started to stand up to him and found out he was all talk. I didn't learn how to fight but, how not to be a victim. Thank you Master Randall and the other black belt helping me through the tough times; not holding my hand through it but standing behind me, pushing and encouraging all the way. I tell more another time.

To long in junior high I was bullied and pick on. I would beg my mother to let me stay home. I class I had trouble focusing and getting my work in on time. I nearly flunked out of 7th grade because I miss more then half the year staying home. Until I was placed in a in school martial arts program called the KARE program, put on by Matt Randall's Black Belt Academy, in 8th grade. Everyday for an hour we; me and several other kids in my school from 6th to 9th grade classified as severe cases (problem, depressed, ADHD/ADD, ect... kids). After the first 6 months my parents were noticing I was up early and ready for school. My teachers commented to each other that my work was in on or before it was do and I was focusing better in class, and my friends were impressed at the fitness level I was at all ready in just a short time. I could keep up with them in gym class now. That summer I continued my training at the school in Newmarket and started worked out on a Total Gym My family purchased me as a birthday present. I went back to school in the fall and no one recognized me. I went from 201lbs. to 135lbs that summer with proper diet and exercise which still follow and I have keep it off since.

Since joining in 2008, I was given the opportunity to participate in ITP. A few months later, I found myself at the front of the pad drills class on Mon. nights. Thank you for your patience while I learn to "teach for transfer". I'm working at making every week better than the last. My favorite activity is the Tuesday night workouts with Master Randall available to blackbelts and instructors, which I refer to as Tuesday Fight Night. Although we don't really train to "fight", we also don't train to be victims. If the word was not out, it is now. This is an opportunity to get some world class training with Master Randall. Blackbelts, please join us. You won't be disappointed. Until then, I will continue to trade jabs with my workout partner, Mr. Stiles, who is an excellent competitor. I am pleased to be taking charge of building a SWAT team. One of our instructors may approach you with an invitation to join soon. I am looking for individuals who are consistent and serious about their training. I will be having special classes with this group every other Thurs. evening. I will include much of the material reviewed at our ITP classes and some on the floor training on current lessons in pad drills, sparring, weapons training, and self defense. Highlights since joing MRBBA. -Having the chance to train with my best friend, and wife, the incomparable Mrs. Lane. -Learning lots of great new self defense skills. -Introducing several others to the world of martial arts. -Reading Mr. Q. Santos testimonial to his Dad, Mr. P. Santos that he wrote prior to his black belt test. If Mr. P. Santos decides to write a book on parenting, I would like to buy the first copy. -Tuesday night training with Master Randall. -Sparring with Master Lindquist. (and the ice packs when its over!) -Not allowing my daughter to leave the house before learning a new self defense technique everyday. -Too many more to mention.

Master Randall, I just wanted to take a quick moment to say â??Thank You!â? to you and the staff at MRBBA for the expert Taekwondo and self-defense instruction, the hard work that it takes to create the extraordinary variety of drills and skills from week to week, and the enthusiasm and positive reinforcement that helps to motivate us all. As you know, I participate in Martial Arts training at Matt Randallâ??s Black Belt Academy (MRBBA) with my two sons who are 16 and 13 years old; we enjoy learning something new each class and getting a great workout at the same time. We started out in Martial Arts training because we were looking for something we could do together as a family; and it had to be fun! When you consider the benefits of Martial Arts training: increased self-discipline, a heightened sense of awareness, better concentration, and improved self-confidence, it is a combination that you cannot find anywhere else. I am glad we got started and made the commitment to Martial Arts training at MRBBA! We really could not have done any better! We are fortunate and proud to be a part of MRBBA, and we are thoroughly enjoying the experience. My two sons are competitive athletes in hockey and soccer, and the benefits of the Martial Arts training are helping to enhance their performance in their other sports as well through improved balance/body control, increased strength/stamina, stronger self-discipline/goal-setting, better self-confidence/mental preparation, and improved quickness and agility. Thanks again, Skipp Schultz

Originally I didn't start out with any lessons, I signed up my son Justin. After seeing how MRBBA instructors have taught Justin to be self-disciplined, have more self esteem, and learn to be more patient, I decided that instead of sitting and being an observer I signed myself up. In addition to the things I mentioned for Justin, the instructors are being my motivation to begin to exercise and help me reach my ultimate goal of BLACK belt.
